We are in the process of getting our first Amber Flag here in the school.
The AMBER FLAG initiative aims to encourage Schools/Colleges/Clubs/Societies/Organisations to promote and actively bring about a culture change in the promotion of positive mental health within the educational system and other organisations.
We are all doing a light hike during school in period three and four on Friday 4th May. To promote healthy mental health we are asking all students to buy the orange band which costs €2. This is a whole school initiative and we feel that this is an important and beneficial cause.
