Community and Partnerships
Strong links with local organisations, sports clubs, South Dublin County Council, Tallaght Library, and Trinity College enrich the educational experience.
Programmes like TY community involvement, Erasmus exchanges, and guest speakers (including community Garda and politicians) foster active citizenship and real-world learning.
Support for Transitions and Lifelong Learning
Year Heads, Tutors, and SDOs guide students through key transitions, from first year to senior cycle and beyond.
Study skills workshops, work experience placements, and College Awareness Week prepare students for further education and employment.
Past pupils return to share their stories, inspiring current students and strengthening the school’s culture of achievement.
Old Bawn Community School’s facilities are more than just buildings—they are vibrant, inclusive spaces where every student can thrive, discover their strengths, and prepare for life beyond school.
