It is with regret that I must inform Parents and students, that Mr. Paul Ryder, Deputy Principal, is leaving Old Bawn Community School and relocating to the sunny southeast.
I have known Paul as a student, student teacher, teacher, Year Head, Principal and finally as a Deputy, since January 2022. He has been an amazing asset to our school, and he will be greatly missed by the SLT. Our students will also miss his caring words and his ability to connect. He is one of our most successful past pupils who has given so much to our school community. I am proud to have worked alongside him over the years.
I wish him the very best in Wexford at whatever his next step will be.
